Fender Acoustasonic guitars are the ultimate blend of electric and acoustic guitar design. Released for NAMM 2019, the Acoustasonic Telecaster took the limelight with its stylish design and incredibly versatile sounds.
Now for The NAMM Show 2020, Fender has unveiled the Acoustasonic Stratocaster. Showing that the Strat is an equally fantastic platform to undergo the ‘Acoustasonic’ treatment, these new hybrid guitars look incredibly stylish and promise to be hugely versatile.
Players will find the double-cutaway outline of the Stratocaster pleasantly familiar with the new Acoustasonic Strat, even down to the top forearm contour. Fender has loaded these new guitars with the Fender/Fishman-designed Acoustic Engine, giving musicians the ability to effortlessly switch between acoustic and electric guitar sounds. This system relies on an under-saddle piezo, internal body sensor, and an extra N4 magnetic pickup to generate its huge tonal range.
Crafted in the Fender American factory, each guitar has a solid ‘A’ Sitka spruce top with mahogany back and sides. A satin matte finish gives a soft tactile feel – perfect for long playing sessions on stage. Other premium appointments include ebony fingerboard on mahogany neck, Graph Tech TUSQ nut, Fender sealed tuners, and Bi-Flex truss rod.
The new Acoustasonic Stratocaster is available in 5 eye-catching finishes, and we can’t to get our hands on them. Watch this space for more content coming soon.
