NAMM 2020 | The Rane Seventy Battle Mixer gives DJs a powerful way to control Serato DJ, offering an intuitive workflow and solid construction for the most demanding events.
The Rane Seventy is a 2-channel battle mixer for Serato. Featuring “best in class performance”, this mixer offers DJ’s a host of intuitive control options, housed within a rugged solid steel chassis.
The Seventy is here to join the solid-steel, Serato DJ-ready Rane mixer family. With an incredibly rugged chassis and controls, wide-ranging feature set, and versatile connectivity, the Seventy is designed for DJs who demand the highest levels of performance and durability.
With Rane’s time-proven design expertise clearly on show, the Seventy offers an intuitive workflow for use with Serato DJ.
Users will find three new ultra-light MAG FOUR contactless faders with external tension adjustment. Elsewhere, six radio-style FX buttons offer instant access to both the internal Flex FX and Serato DJ’s software FX.
16 Akai Professional MPC performance pads with independent mode controls allow hands-on access to Hot Cues, Pitch ‘n Time, Saved Loops, Sampler, Roll and Transport.
Users will also find immediate access to dual dedicated loop sections and Instant Double buttons.
DJ Mixer Staples
The Rane Seventy features all the staples of a DJ mixer. You’ll find a 3-band isolator EQ, dedicated high/low-pass filters per channel, as well as the capability to browser Serato playlists. The Seventy also features dual diecast aluminium FX paddles alongside a vibrant OLED screen for clear visual feedback when on stage. With the industry-leading 114dB signal-to-noise ratio, Rane is offering amongst the highest levels of audio performance with the Seventy.
Versatile Pro Connectivity
The Seventy provides a huge array of connections – dual USB, Phono/CD per channel, RCA Aux, and RCA Session in/out for battle teams. And that’s not to mention the collection of XLR/line/mic connections for all your live DJ needs. The dual USB connections make handoffs an easy proposition, allowing to DJs to perform simultaneously.
For DJs who want the classic turntable experience, assignable USB controller inputs for Rane Twelve motorised control turntables, as well as switchable inputs on each deck for phono, line, and aux.
