Nick Oliveri rejoins Queens of the Stone Age on new album
A post made on his current band's, MondoGenerator, Facebook page suggested that Oliveri had contributed vocals to QOTSA's sixth record.
The statement read: "Nick has re-joined Kyuss, and has recently recorded his vocals on a new Queens of the Stone Age song! Stay tuned."
Oliveri was fired from the band in 2004 following allegations of domestic violence between himself and his partner. He was later arrested in 2011 for similar offences and was charged with drugs and firearm offences.
He avoided a long-term prison sentence by negotiating a deal which saw him serve three years of felony probation and 200 hours of community service as well as 52 hours of anger management.
Earlier in the month, Queens of the Stone Age confirmed that Foo Fighters front man Dave Grohl would be playing the drums for the upcoming album.
Oliveri and Grohl teamed up with the rest of the band for Queens of the Stone Age's most iconic record to date, 2002's Songs for the Deaf.
