The Superbooth show is here, and every year we see a plethora of exciting new gear to add to our wish lists. Here's a selection of our top picks for 2019.

With three separate Eurorack modules housed inside a handmade enclosure, this is one exciting proposition for 2019. As Pittsburgh Modular says, the Voltage Lab Synthesizer offers multiple options for "extreme sonic research." Sign us up!

Ever since the famed NS-10, the black-and-white monitor families from Yamaha have become a go-to classic for studio monitoring. The HS Series always offered a more well-rounded sound stage than the harsher NS-10's, and as such, became a great-value choice for many users.
Yamaha has updated the HS Series with a new limited-edition Space Grey finish, and we think they look fantastic. Available in 5-inch, 6-inch, and 8-inch designs, the limited-edition HS Series offers a fresh look for 2019, with the same acclaimed sound that countless musisians and engineers have trusted with their mixes.

Korg has added its ground-breaking Nutube technology to the Volca range of portable synths. Despite its super compact size, the Nutube delivers real vacuum tube technology for "incredibly warm tones and rich distortions that only a tube can provide".
As with the rest of the portable Volca family, the Nubass features a 16-step sequencer, motion sequencing, transpose, slide, accent, and randomise functionality. The addition of a Nutube makes it the perfect "acid bass machine" with warm harmonics from a real tube-driven osciallator.

The Matriarch is a 4-voice paraphonic synthesizer with sequencer, arpeggiator, stereo ladder filters, and stereo analalog delay. Being a semi-modular design, the Matriarch will let you create sounds straight out the box.
