The Who rock Super Bowl with Ashdown
On Sunday all eyes were on South Florida for the 44th Annual Super Bowl in which the New Orleans Saints beat the Indianapolis Colts.
The halftime show has become a must watch for viewers worldwide, and this year 190 million people tuned in to see The Who rock the stadium.
The show was an incendiary 12-minute mash up of classic hits, with superb bass tone being ensured by Ashdown amps.
Bass player Pino Palladino uses an ABM 900 EVO II Head to get a supreme sound that has made him a favourite of top touring artists.
As well as The Who, Pino has taken his Ashdown amp on tour Jeff Beck, David Gilmour and Richard Ashcroft to name a few.
Alongside his Ashdown bass amp, Pino has become famous for his use of fretless bass, providing a different and unique sound.Posted on 11 Feb 2010 13:26 to category : Instruments News
