Vox guitar amp guide attracts praise
Each chapter of the tome was said to contain a book's worth of information, such as details about various cabinets, tubes and speakers.
Mr Hunter said this would appeal to both Vox aficionados and fans of electric guitars and related gear in general.
"If any jot, tittle or iota is missing from this book, I certainly haven't found it," he observed.
Mr Hunter added that the book also contains information on individual guitarists who are well-known for using Vox amps, such as John Lennon and George Harrison of The Beatles, Keith Richards and Brian Jones of The Rolling Stones and Hank Marvin of The Shadows.
Other well-known fans of Vox amps include Queen guitarist Brian May and Rory Gallagher.Posted on 9 Jun 2009 14:00 to category : Instruments News
