About Casio

Casio released its first electronic keyboard in 1980 drawing acclaim from musicians around the world with its compact size and portability.

After the huge success of this electronic keyboard Casio made subsequently developments to the keyboard only possible using digital instruments. These included one-touch auto-accompaniment, auto-play, memory capacity to record and playback songs, sampling technology for recording any sound for use as a sound source and a melody guide function that guides users through a song by lighting up the keys.

In recent years Casio has stepped up efforts to expand the popularity of not only their electronic keyboards, but their digital pianos as well.
