Zildjian Low Volume / Remo Silentstroke Crossover Practice Pack
Zildjian Low Volume / Remo Silentstroke Crossover Practice PackDetails
The Zildjian L80 Low Volume Cymbal Set allows you to practise at a low volume without compromising on size or feel. This unique new playing experience from Zildjian is the result of specially patterned holes which heavily reduce the projection and sustain. This means you produce a quieter sound that's ideal for practice without losing the authentic feel of a Zildjian cymbal. This pack also includes three Remo Silentstroke tom heads. Despite their low volume output, the heads are made with a single mesh ply that has the same sensitivity and feel as standard size skins. This pack is ideal for drummers who want a silent practice on their custom kit, without compromising on feel or drum size.
Matching snare heads for the included Remo Silentstroke skins can be found in the related products below.

Remo Silentstroke Crossover Tom Heads
The Remo Silentstroke Tom Drum Heads offer a quieter alternative for your drum kit’s sound whilst practicing. The set consists of 12", 14" and 16" heads for a floor tom and two rack toms, which are suited to custom specification kits. The single-ply mesh material offers a responsive feel similar to standard drums but with a greatly reduced volume output. These are ideal for gigging musicians who require the familiarity of their kit on stage, but also want to practice in the home environment.
Zildjian L80 Low Volume 468 Cymbal Set
The innovative pattern that the L80 set features is combined with a special proprietary alloy and unique matt finish that reduces high frequencies. During the research and development Zildjian used a sound level meter to compare the decibel levels of a traditional Zildjian cymbal with the new L80 cymbal, both played with consistent power. The results established that these new cymbals were up to 80 percent quieter than the traditional equivalent. Despite their quieter sound, the L80 cymbals still have a traditional size, making them instantly familiar.
