The product price includes a one year warranty and 30 day money back guarantee.

However, the Gear4music extended warranty scheme provides an enhanced service, and is designed to offer a higher level of protection than many 'free' warranties offered by some retailers and manufacturers.

The highlights of this enhanced warranty service are:

  • Warranty is extended to 5 years from the date of delivery.
  • Our Money Back guarantee is extended from 30 days to 90 days (terms apply after 30 days)
  • Collection and delivery costs are included for the first two years
  • Claim 50% cash back on the cost of the policy after 5 years if it has not been used!
  • Warranty is transferable if the item is re-sold
  • Loan or replacement equipment will be provided if the product isn't repaired within 30 days
  • If an item can not be repaired, a similar alternative product or cash discount (as defined in this policy) will be offered
  • The policy can be cancelled within 30 days, and at any time after that for a pro-rata discount

Please note that this extended warranty is currently only available on products sold within the EU or EEA, and is subject to the terms and conditions as detailed on the extended warranty certificate provided.

For customers in outlying areas of the country, the price of the Extended Warranty may be marginally higher, due to the potential for higher collection and redelivery transport costs.

This enhanced warranty is in addition to the standard Gear4music and manufacturer warranty policies, and the Gear4music terms and conditions of trade. No statement or condition of sale contained within these terms affects or restricts your statutory rights as defined under the Consumer Contracts Regulation 2014.

The highly sensitive 1.07" dual-diaphragm capsule is suspended in its own special mount, almost floating in the large, spherical basket. The body is cast from Zinc alloy, which gives almost zero resonance and helps to keep the signal crystal-clear.

Omni, Cardioid & Figure 8 patterns, and a 10dB cut/boost function, make this microphone the perfect 'workhorse' in practically any studio or live sound application. Its low self-noise and unmistakable presence allows you to record the subtlest of instruments or voices without concern or the need to perform surgery afterwards.

Supplied in a luxury wooden case, ORPHEUS is a combination of the past and the present, but more importantly it is unique. The XLR cable enters from the rear casing, allowing the cable to follow its natural route along the boom and therefore reduces strain on the cable, connector and socket. As the capsule is isolated in its own suspension, the ORPHEUS uses a direct mounting clamp, rather than the usual bulky shockmount, which all adds to the clean lines of this masterpiece.

In Greek mythology, Orpheus was a legendary singer and musician famous for his ability to enchant audiences with his songs - a rather apt name, we thought, for such a special microphone.

If you like your studio tools to look good as well as sound good, then the ORPHEUS is the answer.

"The pair of Orpheus as drum overheads gave so much presence and clarity but without any harshness....a revelation!"

Haydn Bendall, Pro Sound News Europe Magazine

  • Response: 20Hz - 20KHz

Now Includes: EZ Drummer Lite:

EZdrummer Lite is the stripped down version of the multi-microphone drum-sampler EZdrummer. It is designed for musicians and producers in need of a compact, affordable, easy to handle plug-in without compromising sound quality or control.

The visualized drums in the interface combine auditioning of sounds and drumkit construction. The extensive drag and drop midi-library enables users to create a great drumtrack in less than five mouse-clicks. For more advanced handling, users can control microphone bleeding and levels between drums using the internal mixer. The mixer also allows stereo and multitrack routing into the host through one single plug-in, and thanks to the second generation Toontrack Percussive Compression (TPC), system requirements are kept to a minimum. The drums for EZdrummer Lite were recorded, produced and played by the best in the business at Avatar Studios in New York.
