DISC Mapex Armory 20'' Fusion 5pc Shell Pack, Roasted Chestnut Overview
The Mapex Armory 20'' Fusion 5pc Shell Pack, Roasted Chestnut is ideal for gigging drummers, studio musicians, and intermediate players after a powerful, expressive setup. The hybrid birch/maple shells deliver a clear attack with warm resonance, giving you a full-bodied tone across all drums. SONIClear bearing edges help the heads sit flat for improved tuning and responsiveness, especially useful for quick adjustments in live or recording situations.
With a compact 20'' bass drum and matching Tomahawk snare, this kit balances punch and portability. The SONIClear suspension system and floor tom feet reduce shell contact and improve sustain, while the low-mass hardware cuts down on weight without sacrificing stability. A double tom holder with memory locks speeds up setup and keeps your layout consistent every time.
Please Note: Cymbals and hardware not included.

Full Description
View Full DescriptionBalanced tone from hybrid shell design
The 6-ply birch/maple/birch shell construction combines the bright, cutting characteristics of birch with the warmth of maple. This fusion gives the kit a versatile, expressive voice that works across multiple styles. Whether you're playing rock, pop, or jazz, the Armory shell formula keeps your sound focused but full, making it a strong choice for drummers who need range without switching kits.
Quick, easy tuning and better resonance
SONIClear bearing edges are designed to let drumheads sit more evenly on the shell. This results in better contact, fewer tuning issues, and a more natural sustain. The design also makes it easier to get a usable sound with less effort—ideal for drummers who need to make fast adjustments between sets or sessions.
Flexible setup with stable mounting
The TH676 double tom holder includes a memory lock system, helping you get your toms positioned exactly where you want them—and keep them there. Combined with the SONIClear suspension mounts and floor tom feet, the kit provides a stable playing experience with improved resonance and minimal vibration loss.
Ready-to-play snare with extra bite
Included in the pack is the Armory Tomahawk snare—a 14'' steel model known for its crisp, aggressive attack. It’s a strong match for the kit’s overall sound profile and cuts clearly through mixes without overpowering. This addition means you're not just getting a shell pack, but a gig-ready setup straight out of the box.
