Synthesizer Keyboards

Synthesizer Keyboards create sounds through analog, digital or sometimes hybrid electronic circuitry. These synths feature one or more oscillators to produce sound and various tone shaping tools such as filters, envelopes and LFO.

Some synth keyboards are designed with music composition in mind and can be used to lay out a full track from start to finish. These synth workstations usually contain a multi track sequencer and are ideal for writing, arranging and editing songs or backing tracks. Alternatively, many players prefer synths that use non-keyboard interfaces such as modular synths or those controlled with pads, knobs and wheels.
