Danelectro 56 Baritone Guitar, Black Sparkle - Secondhand

Full Description

The Danelectro 56 Baritone Guitar combines the unmistakable retro styling of Danelectro's classic instruments with the extended range and distinctive voice of a baritone guitar. Finished in eye-catching Black Sparkle, its single-cutaway body and classic Danelectro appointments give it an instantly recognisable appearance.

A 29.75-inch scale provides the additional string length required for lower baritone tunings, producing deep, defined notes while retaining the familiar feel of a six-string electric guitar. Its maple neck features 24 frets and a Pau Ferro fingerboard, making the instrument equally suited to low-register rhythm work and melodic playing.

Two high-output Danelectro Lipstick single-coil pickups deliver the bright, characterful tone associated with the brand, with a three-way pickup selector plus master volume and tone controls providing straightforward sound shaping. A fully adjustable six-saddle bridge allows accurate intonation across the extended scale.

Ideal for surf, alternative rock, country, ambient music and heavier styles, the Danelectro 56 Baritone offers a distinctive way to explore lower tunings while retaining classic Danelectro character.
