Key Features
Product Ref: 105329
The Ibanez AEG body shape features a slim and contoured design that is ideal for all styles of acoustic guitar playing. The single cutaway enables easy access to the upper frets, while the sleekly contoured body gives enhanced playing comfort whether stood up or sat down. With the combination of a smooth playing feel, onboard electronics, and resonant tonewoods, the Ibanez AEG8EMH is the ideal instrument for practising and performing musicians.
The Ibanez AEG8EMH features a sapele body and top which gives a warm and resonant sound. The top is supported by an X bracing pattern for enhanced sustain and dynamic response - similar to more expensive instruments. The body is finished in satin for a smooth and tactile feel, simultaneously letting the woods breathe and resonate to their maximum potential.
The AEG8EMH has a mahogany neck with a treated New Zealand Pine fingerboard. The fingerboard's 400mm radius provides a smooth balance across all 6 strings, while the satin-finished back gives a sleek feel when traversing the neck.
The AEG8EMH is loaded with an Ibanez under-saddle pickup and AEQ-2T preamp. This allows you to get plugged into an amplifier or PA with the minimum of fuss for a clear amplified tone. The preamp has a handy 2-band EQ and tuner, so you can sculpt your tone and get in tune from directly on the side of the guitar's body. Whether you want to play amplified or un-plugged, you'll find a nuanced range of acoustic guitar tones with the AEG8EMH.
One common problem with changing acoustic guitar strings is bridge pins that remain too firmly in-place. Ibaznez Advantage bridge pins solve this problem, letting you remove them with ease while the special stopper prevents them from being re-inserted too far.
