SuperNATURAL Piano technology powers the onboard grand piano sounds, delivering a world-class performance. The RP 102 reacts dynamically with your touch for a responsive and realistic playing experience. The Roland Piano Designer app makes it easy for you to personalise the RP 102's tone and response to suit your taste from your mobile device. Parameters such as hammer noise, cabinet resonance and even single note character are all able to be edited for your specific requirements, giving each musician their own signature sound.

Connectivity

In addition to having the sound and feel of a traditional piano, the RP 102 takes advantage of modern features to make it more accessible than ever. Your music production software can be connected via USB, making the RP 102 a functional controller for your DAW. Bluetooth MIDI, allows owners to connect their RP 102 to their mobile device and access apps including Roland's Piano Partner 2 app and other third party apps. The app's Rhythm function follows the chords as you play and can even add a full ensemble orchestra for an impressive performance. Combined with the integrated three pedal unit, this technology can also be used for sheet music page turning.

The Piano Partner 2 app also offers an easy way for players to view and access the library of over 300 onboard sounds and organise layers, splits and utilise the Twin Piano functionality, which is a fantastic feature for players who are learning with a teacher. You can also use the Piano Partner 2 app to record your performance as a MIDI file, and play it back through the piano. The diary function allows you to keep track of your progress.
