FIBERSKYN® 3 FD drumheads were created to duplicate the characteristic look, sound, and feel of drumheads used in the Bebop jazz era. The classic FIBERSKYN® 3 FD sound features a warm, dark, round tone which is highly recommended for traditional jazz, concert snare drums, bass drums and tom-toms.FIBERSKYN® 3 FD heads are made by fusing a single-ply of Mylar® film with poly-spun fibers in a proprietary high temperature bonding process. The resulting finish is similar to the texture of animal skin and is great for brushwork.

FD is the equivalent of an ambassador-weight.
