Handmade and hand-hammered in Turkey from B20 bronze alloy, the Meinl Byzance Dual Complete Cymbal Set was built to endure the force of all playing styles with ease. The dark, earthy timbre and defined stick response is suited to a wide range of musical styles where dark tone and feel are at the top of the 'must haves' list.

Meinl Byzance Extra Dry 14" Dual Hi-Hat

This hi-hat offers dry, low-pitched sounds with a short sustain. The raw, hand-hammered surface is combined with a lathed edge which is buffed to a brilliant finish. Able to produce a clean, dry 'chick' to an instant bite, these hi-hats suit multiple applications.

Meinl Byzance Extra Dry 16" Dual Trash-Crash

The Meinl Byzance Extra Dry 16" Trash Crash provides dry, low-pitched, trashy sounds and a short sustain. The raw, hand-hammered surface is combined with a lathed edge buffed to a brilliant finish, offering a unique style that will turn heads and grab ears. The Byzance Extra Dry 16" Trash-Crash is extremely versatile and can be used as a stand-alone trash crash or as a large splash.

Meinl Byzance 18'' Extra Dry Dual Crash

The Meinl 18'' Byzance Extra Dry Dual Crash Cymbal lives up to its name. This cymbal is extremely dry, low-pitched and trashy with a short sustain. The raw unlathed surface and extensive hand-hammering would suggest that its sound might be loud and fierce. But the 16'' Extra Dry Dual Crash gives off dark, earthy tones and comes to life when played at lower volumes. Lathed outer-edge gives it a softer under-stick feel when crashed too.

The Meinl 20'' Byzance Extra Dry Dual Crash Ride Cymbal is extremely dry, with a low-pitched trashy sounds and short sustain. The raw unlathed surface and extensive hand-hammering produces dry, articulate notes, whilst the lathed outer-edge offers a brighter tone with hints of the raw profile. Musically versatile, it sits in any genre without suspicion. It is also able to be crashed, which produces a full bodied texture with lots of complex overtones.
