Full Description

The Bogner Alchemist 212 is a powerful two-channel valve guitar amplifier combining classic valve circuitry with versatile onboard effects and a premium Celestion 2x12 speaker configuration. Designed to cover everything from articulate clean sounds to saturated lead tones, the Alchemist offers a broad tonal range for rehearsal, recording and live performance.

The Class AB power section uses a pair of 6L6 valves and can operate at either 40 watts or 20 watts. Five 12AX7 preamp valves provide the gain stages, with separate Gold and Mercury channels offering distinct clean, crunch and high-gain characteristics.

The 2x12 configuration combines a Celestion G12M Greenback with a Celestion G12H Anniversary speaker, providing a blend of warm midrange character, definition and dynamic response. Integrated reverb and delay effects can be adjusted independently, while the effects loop provides additional connectivity for external pedals and processors.

A dedicated four-button footswitch allows remote control of channel selection, boost, delay and reverb, making the Alchemist particularly flexible for live use.
