The Fender Roland G-5 VG Stratocaster combines the timeless feel of a traditional Stratocaster with Roland's acclaimed COSM modelling technology. Built in Mexico and introduced in 2012, it delivers authentic Strat tones alongside a wide selection of modelled electric and acoustic guitar sounds, all without requiring an external processor.

Using dedicated controls integrated into the guitar, players can instantly access alternate tunings, 12-string sounds, humbucker and Telecaster-style tones, making the G-5 an exceptionally versatile instrument for live performance and recording. Despite its advanced electronics, it functions as a conventional Stratocaster whenever the modelling system is bypassed.
