The Peavey Classic 50/212 is a powerful USA-made valve guitar combo combining vintage-inspired styling with the versatile performance of Peavey's long-running Classic Series. Its distinctive tweed covering, brown grille cloth and chrome control panel provide a traditional appearance, while the 50-watt valve circuit delivers substantial output for rehearsals and live performance.

The power amplifier uses four EL84/6BQ5 valves to produce 50 watts of output through two 12-inch speakers. This configuration provides substantial projection and headroom while retaining the responsive overdrive characteristics associated with EL84-powered valve amplifiers.

Normal and Lead modes provide access to clean and overdriven sounds, with Pre and Post Gain controls allowing the amount and output level of the Lead channel to be adjusted independently. A shared three-band EQ and Presence control provide straightforward overall tonal shaping.

Integrated spring reverb adds traditional amplifier ambience, while an effects loop allows external modulation, delay and other effects to be placed within the amplifier's signal path. Footswitch connectivity provides remote control over channel selection and reverb, making the Classic 50/212 a versatile choice for stage and rehearsal use.
