To that end, Ampeg have equipped the SVT-410HLF with a set of four custom designed low frequency speakers, tuned to give you earth-shaking low-end performance – all the way down to 28Hz! With the four devastating drivers working in unison, this cabinet moves a tremendous amount of air to provide a visceral, kinetic thump while you play. And even better, with four 10” speakers, they’re agile enough to react to transient peaks at for an even richer sound.

As for the detail, you’re covered by a 1” horn that injects a superb top-end into each note. It’s strategically crossed over at 4kHz to ensure a bright accent on your output that prevents it from becoming muddy. With all these speakers working together, you’ve got an incredibly versatile setup, one that has been the favourite of many huge artists.

Well, that’s what Ampeg had in mind when building the SVT-410HLF, as they used a sturdy 15mm Baltic birch plywood enclosure to make sure this stands up to the rigours of the road. And getting it set up is made far easier thanks to a set of recessed handles and casters that operate when the cab is tilted back.
