The Gold Passion's torrefied Engelmann spruce top is a remarkable feature. This high-quality top wood has undergone thermal modification to eliminate moisture and resin, resulting in exceptional resonance with rich overtones. The beautiful blonde colour of the Engelmann Spruce, combined with the Gold Passion's torrefaction, further enhances its visual appeal.
Being a solid wood, you can expect a clear and expressive high-end, along with a present and focused mid-range. Thanks to Cort's hand-scalloped X-bracing, the low-end is deep and well-defined, offering ample volume and projection as well.
AAA flame maple back and sides
