Direct-mounted to the body for improved resonance and sustain, these pickups deliver strong output while maintaining excellent clarity and definition. From tight, punchy rhythm riffs to soaring lead lines, they respond dynamically to picking attack and volume adjustments. Neck carved to Eddie's exact specifications

The quartersawn baked maple neck is reinforced with graphite rods and carved to Eddie Van Halen's preferred Wolfgang profile, delivering a fast and comfortable feel that encourages fluid playing. Its hand-rubbed satin urethane finish provides a smooth, natural surface that remains comfortable even during long playing sessions. Rolled fingerboard edges contribute to a broken-in feel straight out of the case, while the heel-mounted truss rod adjustment wheel allows quick and convenient setup changes without removing the neck or loosening the strings.

Compound radius fingerboard for speed

The ebony fingerboard features a 12"-16" compound radius that transitions from a slightly rounder feel near the nut to a flatter surface higher up the neck. This design allows comfortable chord playing in lower positions while providing a fast, precise surface for bends and lead playing further up the fretboard. Paired with 22 jumbo frets, the fingerboard offers excellent control and note definition, making it ideal for everything from tight rhythm work to expressive soloing.
