Solid Ash Wood Body

The Fender Telecaster PJ Bass features a solid ash wood body, delivering a classic Fender ‘twang’ with sweet, airy tones. The lightweight ash provides the guitar with excellent resonance and sustain, offering firm lows, pleasing highs, and a scooped midrange. This Limited-Edition Tele Bass is finished in a beautiful blackguard blonde and a nitrocellulose lacquer, with its thin, porous, and delicate coating allowing the tonewoods to breath with their natural tonal character and resonance. The lacquer is also known to wear and age in a certain way that appeals to many players.

’’1963 C'' Maple Neck & Fingerboard

The ’51 Telecaster PJ Bass is equipped with a smooth 1963 ‘’C’’ shaped maple neck and 9.5’’ radius fingerboard, offering an incredibly comfortable performance and an agile playing feel many players will appreciate. The maple tonewood provides the Fender with a beautifully bright characteristic, tightening up the overall tones and delivering plenty of cut and bite. Using maple for both the neck and fingerboard provides players with a sharp, clear punch when the strings are hit hard, while light to medium picking brings out the subtler tones of the maple.

HiMass Bridge

As well as offering a wide variety of superb tones, this limited edition bass guitar also features Fender's HiMass bridge which improves every note’s sustain and resonance. The bridge's design enhances the attack of the bass, creating a lively tone while offering either a string though or top loaded set-up.

Narrow Tall Frets

Another addition to this model are the 20 narrow tall frets, which are mounted on the maple fingerboard and provide incredible comfort when performing slides. Being slightly narrower than standard medium jumbo frets, the narrow tall frets are incredibly effective for bending notes and playing chords with superb intonation.

Bone Nut

Along with its amazing tone and looks, the Fender LTD Telecaster Bass also features a bone nut which adds to its classic aesthetic. The main purpose of using a bone nut, compared to modern materials, is the bone offers excellent resonance and sustain. A bone nut also delivers a very balanced tone, and will last a long time. In addition, this type of nut naturally self-lubricates and helps the guitar to stay in tune for longer.

Elite Moulded Case

This unique bass guitar is delivered in an elite moulded case, featuring body-hugging contours which holds the guitar firmly in place. TSA latches are also included for enhanced security and easy access. This durable case also features a stacking ability, for easy storage and transport.
