The 1964 ES-335 Reissue uses traditional semi-hollow construction with a 3-ply maple, poplar, and maple body paired with a solid maple centre block. This design delivers the perfect balance between acoustic openness and electric focus, allowing notes to bloom while maintaining clarity at higher volumes. The centre block controls feedback and enhances sustain, making the guitar equally comfortable for clean, articulate passages and driven tones. Every contour and dimension is carefully recreated to match original mid-’60s examples.
1964 medium C neck profile
The solid mahogany neck features a ’64 Medium C profile, scanned directly from vintage instruments to capture the feel players know and love. It sits comfortably in the hand, offering enough substance for confident fretting while remaining fast and fluid for lead work. A long tenon neck joint fitted with hide glue enhances resonance and transfer of vibration, while the Indian rosewood fretboard with authentic medium-jumbo frets supports expressive bends and smooth vibrato.

Gibson Custom Custombucker pickups with Alnico 3 magnets are designed to recreate the clarity, warmth, and dynamic response of original PAF humbuckers.
