Chris Miller's Signature Take On the Roadcore Range

The Ibanez CMM2 Chris Miller Roadcore guitar is the second guitar in this signature range from Ibanez, and adds versatile pickups and electronic switching to the standard Roadcore range in order to achieve a large range of tones. Chris Miller plays lead guitar in the band 'You Me At Six' and this guitar was conceived to create a traditional look and vintage feel capable of covering several tonal bases. In Chris's own words, 'The Ibanez CMM2 is everything I need from a guitar.'

Classic Looks Meets Modern Playability

The Roadcore range from Ibanez was produced with an individual take on classic guitar looks and playability. Finished in Black Flat colour, this guitar really matches the musical style of 'You Me At Six' and you can be sure that its features will give a well-rounded playing experience in the rock and blues genres. With its unique outline, this guitar has an individual aesthetic and will really stand out from the pack.

Mahogony Body & Maple Neck

The CMM2 features a classic guitar body wood of mahogany which will bring powerful and resonant tones onto the stage. The maple neck and fingerboard complements the mahogany by adding brightness to really bring out those rock tones. The neck features a medium flat 9 - 1/2 inch radius to ensure that string bends do not choke out, whilst keeping chords comfortable for the left hand fingers. 22 frets are easily accessed by the double cutaway design, making it capable of lead solos as it will be with rhythm guitar playing.

Versatile Humbucker & Soapbar Pickups With Coil Tap Switching

Chris Miller specified a powerful bridge humbucker for the CMM2 alongside a neck soapbar-type neck pickup. The humbucker will provide strident rock tones when driven hard, and the neck pickup offers a more refined tone. The tone pot of the guitar also acts as a coil tap to split the bridge humbucker and gives the possibility of some brighter single coil tones. The 3-way switch means that the pickups can be used individually or in combination, and in total this guitar has 5 different pickup options. This means that the Ibanez CMM2 has a surprising amount of tonal versatility and will be capable of balancing out the higher gain tones with the more refined, lower-gain bluesy sounds.
