Although it may be normal to integrate a boost or preamp pedal to power the front end of your tube amplifier into overdrive. Jackson Audio want you to experiment and think outside the box. Place the Prism at the very start of your pedal board and embrace the whole new world of tonal opportunities that are now available to you.
The Prism features three varied colour voices. These make the multi-functioned pedal ideal for a wide style of genres and styles. By engaging the vintage voice you'll achieve a silicon treble-booster style that's synonymous with big rock tones. The MOSFET voice provides an uncanny replication of a vacuum driven tube amplifier, whilst Trans is as clean as it gets. This is down to its handy JFET boost it provides. You'll find that each circuit is completely isolated, and provides its own bypass loop. This means there's no cross-colouration from other features hindering your tone.
Perfect for right at the very end of your signal chain. The Prism offers a high current buffer. This is excellent for signal preservation, regardless of your rig set up or cable length.
