Mahogany Neck & Richlite Fingerboard

Constructed from mahogany, the Maritime's neck provides players with a sonically pleasing warmth and a superb response. Mahogany's naturally quick response offers a great dynamic and accommodates numerous playing techniques with ease. The neck is topped with a richlite fingerboard that adds a bold and clear tonality to the overall sound.

Solid Pressure Tested Spruce Top & Solid Mahogany Body

The Seagull features a solid spruce top that has been pressured tested to ensure a long-lasting durable life-span. Its solid spruce top produces a crisp and defined tone, and generates a versatile sound that is well-suited to a wide range of genres and playing styles. The stunning solid top is coupled with solid mahogany back and sides that deliver a meaty mid-range and a punchy, extremely responsive sound. In addition, the mahogany produces a rich, resonant warmth with a depth and complexity to please most playing styles.

Dreadnought Body

The dreadnought body projects an enormous voice and maintains overall tonal balance. Although the shape was originally designed for hard pick attack, the combination of tonewoods and dreadnought shape make it perfectly ideal for a wide range of playing styles and genres. Its size is better-suited to players more comfortable with bigger bodied guitars and those with a longer reach. The sheer volume the Maritime can project makes it ideal for the singer/songwriter, as vocalists can push their diaphragm to the max without feeling too loud against the guitars volume.

The Seagull Maritime SWS comes equipped with the sophisticated QIT preamp system, offering a simple design with impeccable performance. The preamp has been built specifically to deliver a rich and full sound, reproducing and picking-up the acoustic's natural voice beautifully. Players can tweak their sound within live settings due to its volume, bass, and treble controls, making the Seagull Maritime perfect for the gigging musicians. In addition, the preamp features a built-in tuner, making tuning between songs quick and easy whilst plugged in, as well as being ideal for acoustic use.
