The Canvas Volume is built around a contactless precision position sensor paired with high-quality analogue VCAs. This design removes the mechanical weaknesses of traditional volume pedals, such as strings and potentiometers, which can wear out or become scratchy over time. Instead, pedal movement is tracked smoothly and translated into musical volume changes with consistent accuracy. The fully analogue signal path preserves your tone and dynamics, ensuring the pedal feels natural underfoot while delivering long-term reliability for stage and studio use.

Customisable taper and response

Eight selectable tapers let you tailor the feel of the volume sweep to suit your playing style. These include a custom-designed Canvas taper and models inspired by popular real-world volume pedals, ranging from traditional audio tapers to more linear responses favoured by pedal steel players. Alongside taper selection, adjustable lag introduces delayed response for smoother swells, allowing you to fine-tune how quickly the volume reacts to pedal movement for expressive control.

Flexible routing for modern rigs

The Canvas Volume is designed to adapt to a wide range of setups with flexible signal routing options. It can be configured for mono in and mono out with a dedicated tuner output, mono in with dual mono outs, or full true stereo operation. This makes it easy to integrate into pedalboards running stereo effects, dual amps, or parallel signal paths. High input impedance helps preserve tone from passive instruments, keeping your signal clear and intact.

Housed in a robust steel and aluminium chassis, the Canvas Volume balances durability with pedalboard-friendly weight.
