Responsive Hammer III with IvoryTouch and Let-Off Simulation

The ES8's Responsive Hammer III keyboard action faithfully recreates the distinctive touch of an acoustic grand piano, with realistic movement and accurate 3-sensor technology providing a smooth, natural and expressive playing experience. The weight of the keyboard is appropriately graded to mirror the heavier bass hammers and lighter treble hammers of an acoustic piano, while structural reinforcements within the action assembly ensure greater stability during both fortissimo and staccato passages. The Responsive Hammer III keyboard action also reproduces the subtle let-off sensation felt when playing the keys of a grand piano very softly, enhancing delicate pianissimo playing to satisfy the expectations of even the most discerning pianists. The finely textured IvoryTouch gently absorbs surface moisture to assist playing control, while the natural matt finish ensures a smooth but not slippery surface.

Virtual Technician Technology

The ES8 also features Kawai's innovative Virtual Technician technology, which allows you to shape the tonal characteristics of your sound to suit your needs. This feature offers various adjustable settings including voicing and regulation; string and damper resonances; subtle hammer and key release noises, and even the precise tuning and volume of individual notes. With the ability to store personalised instrument configurations to memory, the Virtual Technician feature enables you to customise the instrument to achieve the piano sound you've always dreamed of.

Professional Accompaniment Styles

Featuring a variety of styles ranging from pop to rock ballads, to jazz-funk, dance and latin, the Rhythm Section of the ES8 digital piano provides solo performers with professionally arranged backing accompaniment at the touch of a button. Delivery Options

Standard Courier Delivery

When you add this product to your shopping basket, you will be provided with our standard courier delivery option. This will deliver the piano to the ground floor of your house or building. Please note that if there is not a ground floor entrance we may not be able to deliver there. You may also need to help the delivery driver as this product comes packaged in large boxes.

This option may not be suitable if you are unable to help the driver if required, or if you need the piano delivering upstairs. Please consider whether this is the most appropriate delivery service for you, as other delivery options are available at an additional cost.

2 Man Delivery Service

If you select this option, two delivery personnel will deliver the piano boxes to any ground floor room of your choice, rather than just your front door. Please note that this service will take a few days longer than the standard courier service and the courier company will call you to arrange a convenient delivery date after you have placed the order.
