MTP 740 CM captures your vocal performances in extreme detail, capturing every nuance from your voice for the best possible performance. At the heart of the microphone is a thick, 1-inch condenser capsule. The capsule is borrowed from MTP 740 CM, featuring high sensitivity and low self-noise for optimised audio. The capsule features a 4-micron Mylar diaphragm and a cardioid polar pattern. The cardioid polar pattern provides off axis rejection, ideal for vocals, minimising any background noise. The extended frequency range delivers a rich yet articulated sound for vocals that will cut through any mix. The internal dual shock mount system also helps to eliminate handling noise, dampening any structure-borne noise.

Illuminated Interface With Attenuation Settings

One of the most unique features of the Lewitt MTP 740 CM is the consistent polar pattern and high-end components. This results in the microphone being virtually feedback-proof. Even below the microphones can ring can be gripped, without losing audio quality. The exceptional rear rejection provides super-high gain before feedback, with a level of -25dB. The illuminated interface on the body of the microphone is ideal for low-light environments. Saving you from fumbling around in the dark to find the mic, the illuminated interface also allows you to quickly and easily change the low-cut and pre-attenuation settings. These settings can be used to optimise your vocal performance, and cater to varying situations.

Robust & Rugged Design

The robust and heavy-duty design of the microphone makes it ideal for prolonged live use on the road. It features a multi-layered structure comprised of wire-mesh cup ring on the outside of the enclosure. The wire-mesh cup ring is comprised of sturdy spring steel, while the body is completely made of metal, comprised of durable zinc die cast parts. The inner enclosure is constructed from nylon reinforced ABS which is not only rugged but lightweight.
