Boasting an ultra-wide frequency response that has tailored-made for vocals, the MTPW950 captures the same subtle details that a studio microphone would. You can switch between patterns to suit your settings and vocal style with cardoid and supercardioid patterns available. You can also attenuate your sound using the built-in 12dB pad and 120Hz low-cut filter. During the beta stage, the microphone was put through its paces by legendary artists such as the Rolling Stones and T-Pain, providing their stamp of approval for its high-end sound and reliability.

Wired/wireless hybrid capsule design

One of the most unique design aspects of the MTPW950 is the detachable capsule. The wireless-compatible capsule allows you to use the microphone with XLR connectivity or with a wide variety of wireless systems. The wireless configuration offers more freedom of movement on stage, making it the go-to choice for most performers. To use the microphone with a wireless system allow you have to do is unscrew the capsule and attach it to your chosen wireless transmitter.
