The Omnitronic TRM-402 4 Channel Rotary Mixer bases it design on vintage DJ mixers from the golden-era. This versatile analog mixer features 4 input channels, with each channel boasting a 2-way equalizer and phone/line switching. Each channel also includes a large vintage rotary gain control for adjusting the overall volume of the channel. The prefader allows you to monitor your input channel and the master output via the headphones output using the cu mix and split functionality. The mixer also includes dedicated boost and kill cut controls. The kill cut features allows you to select and remove the low, mid and high frequency bands, allowing you to create seamless transitions for professional-grade mixing.
One of the most unique features of the TRM-402 is the integrated 3-band frequency isolator. This isolator is designed to bring out the best of your mixing abilities, giving you the ability the customise your sound and blend between songs and frequency bands. This feature is great for the more advanced DJ, allowing you to take full control of the frequency spectrum.
The TRM-402 Rotary Mixer not only looks sleek but is highly robust, ideal as a workhorse mixer for any professional DJ. The robust design is comprised of high-grade components ensuring a long-life span and optimal durability. This ensures the mixer is roadworthy, easily withstanding the rigorous testing of continuous live use. The internal analog circuitry also utilised premium-grade components to ensure optimal audio fidelity.
The vintage-style design captures the essence of the golden-era of DJing, basing its design on mixers from the late 80s and early 90s. It captures the nostalgia by using vintage components such as the ALPS potentiometers, which are taken from the Blue Velvet RK27. These vintage rotary controls really bring out the retro-style of the mixer. The mixer includes a 12-digit stereo LED level meter and master level control. It also includes both a microphone and headphone input with independent level control. The booth output also features separate level control, and it boasts dual inputs for DJ microphone and headphones on the top and front panel for added convenience.
