The Samson LIVE! series consists of a selection of two-way active loudspeakers. These are an all-in-one solution that are perfect for a huge variety of applications. Each LIVE! series speaker is a two-way active design that is bi-amplified. Each enclosure features custom-designed heavy-duty low-frequency drivers featuring oversized motors and large voice coils. Articulate high-frequency response is achieved through a 1'' throat HFP compressor driver that utilises a 1.75'' titanium diaphragm. Loaded with Class-AB amplifiers for the LF transducer and HF compression driver, the LIVE! 615 features a total of 300 watts of power capabilities (250 to the LF transducer, 50 to the HF comp. driver). Each model features a balanced line-level input with a Level control and a Peak indicator. The LIVE! 615 is also equipped with a balanced microphone input with its own level control as well as Phantom Power, and even separate bass and treble controls with a selectable low-cut filer.
Samson's LIVE! series feature large heatsinks with huge power transformers to increase the reliability of the units. Another addition to this series is the sophisticated multi-band dynamics processor capable of audibly transparent limiting, as well as an internal 24dB/Oct time-aligned electronic crossover. Each model features multi-point amplifier protection with an LED indicator for all of the fault conditions. The intuitive design features aren't just limited to the components of the series though. The enclosures have been specifically constructed to force the maximum energy to the sound field, whilst the rugged all-plywood construction provides exceptional protection both during transport and use with enhanced reliability.
