Key Features
Product Ref: 95209
The famous Moog transistor ladder filter is a low pass design which went on to become the most famous filter ever. Since the expiry of its patent it has become the most copied and cloned, however, not all replicas were equal. With copious amount of hours and hard work AJH have managed to get a replica as close as possible to the original transistor ladder filter and its famous sound.
The vactrol based circuit is most responsible for the filter emphases effect and adds useful voltage control capability. The amount of voltage control can be adjusted with EMP-CV rotary knob. The high speed vactrol allows for the maximum speeds to reach well into the audio range. The resonance (emphasis) manages to offer the same control response as the original design with an antilog taper potentiometer of the the same specification.
The Minimod VCF is capable of overdriving the filter core by removing the jumper on the circuit board. This then doubles the gain to the front end of the filter resulting in an overdrive effect. Simply re-connect the jumper again to restore the levels back to normal.
The Minimod VCF eurorack module is designed with the performer in mind. Keeping all knobs at the top and all patch points at the bottom, the Minimod VCF makes sure no patch cables get in the way and allow you to easily adjust parameters. Featuring a sleek, black coating that provides the module with a high quality, professional look.
