The C1000S is supplied with a PPC 1000 Polar Pattern Converter, which switches the polar pattern from cardioid to hypercardioid, and a PB 1000 Presence Boost Adapter, which adds 3 - 5dB of high-end enhancement between 5 and 9kHz. This improves the clarity of speech and adds definition to instrument sounds.
