The Audio Damage ADM06 Sequencer 1 is the ideal sequencer for both in studio and live performance. Use the Sequence 1 to get rhythm ideas going for a synth line or bass line and transpose and mutate it to create new ideas. Get inspired from creating a simple initial idea and use the ADM06 to adjust your sequence easily without needing to stop the sequence. This is also a reason why the Sequencer 1 is ideal for a live performance as you don't need to stop the sequencer to make adjustments whilst playing. Change the tempo, pitch of each step, slide, swing and gate time whilst playing to add variation to your sequence whilst performing. Let the Sequencer 1 create ideas and movements beyond your imagination.
The ADM06 is a versatile sequencer allowing you to control each and every step with different functions. Create anything from arpeggios, rolling bass lines or catchy melodies. The Sequencer 1 offers various ways to set your sequence. You can select how many notes you want playing and what pitch you want. Once this is done you can then adjust pitch on the fly as well as use some of the interesting effects. One of the effects is ratchet which causes the Gate output to fire up to four times when held down. This way you can create quick triplets of a step to add variation. This can all be done whilst the sequencer is playing.
Sequencer mode allows various ways to modify your sequence. In this mode you can select the number of steps you want in a pattern and determine how you want the sequencer to move from one to step to the next. For example you can set it to just one step at a time either right to left, left to right, or create a ping pong effect. Or you can set it so that the jumps between steps are completely random.
The ADM06 offers a wide choice of LFO waveforms allowing you to modulate your sequence. You can choose the shape of the LFO, length, and amplitude and range to create interesting modulating sequences. The LFOs work either free running or can by synced to BPM fixed value, respectively to an incoming clock signal.
