Pristine Analogue Circuitry

The ADC16 boasts exceptionally pristine analogue circuitry, with 16 channels of transformerless balanced analogue inputs. Each channel has a gain control with a 20dB range. The control panel allows you to dictate the source for each of the digital outputs, giving you excellent flexibility and reducing latency and artifacts in real-time monitoring.

Low-Jitter Clock Technology

Benchmark's UltraLock DDS™ clock system utilises low-jitter clock technology developed for high-frequency RF communications systems. It ensures that jitter-induced distortion is always at least 135dB below the level of the music, making it effectively inaudible. Its agility allows it to lock to any sample rate between 28 and 200kHz in a few milliseconds, so changes in sample rate are no problem.

Firewire Card Compatibility

The ADC16 includes a slot for an optional Firewire card. Expanding in this fashion allows it to operate as the sole interface to native DAWs.
