DISC Output - REV & SIGNAL Bundle Plug-in Overview
The Output REV & SIGNAL Bundle combines Output's reverse engine REV with their pulse engine SIGNAL allowing you to create unique reversed sounds and custom rhythmic synths ideal for all kinds of music production. Whilst REV is perfect for unique, textured pads and atmospheric ear candy, SIGNAL offers Output's advanced sound design capabilities to rhythmic sounds from warm analog synths. Both virtual instruments in this bundle offer two engines which can be combined, balanced and morphed to create sounds that suit you.
REV and SIGNAL both offer a wide variety of sound design options, as well as plenty of lush presets. While REV allows you to manipulate rates of reversal, stutter, and pitch over your sounds, whether you want to freely shift pitches for expressive playing, or lock to your project tempo for completely synchronised sounds. SIGNAL provides a few different methods of rhythm creation for your pulse sounds, whether you need LFO-like wave modulation, step sequencing, arpeggiation, and looping and apply two of these to each of the pulse engines.

Reversed sounds can add a lot to the atmosphere of a track you're working on, from soft ethereal swells, tense risers before climactic moments, and mangled, otherworldly tones. REV can also be used as a more straightforward sampler thanks to its multiple playback modes. Select your instrument, and play it forwards, reversed, or reversed with a long, atmospheric reverb tail. Then, modulation options that can shift pitch, timing, and key of your sounds as you play, your reversed sounds can feel dynamic and expressive.
SIGNAL - Pulse Engine
SIGNAL is the perfect way to get unique rhythmic elements into your productions. Thanks to its dual pulse engine architecture, SIGNAL can create everything from smooth chord stabs to erratic leads and pulsating textures. Sampling acoustic instruments, and a wide range of synthesisers, SIGNAL lets you create constant pulses or evolving, shuffling rhythms. Then, complete your sounds with a broad range of effects like distortion, reverb and delay to add depth and character.
