UR22

The Steinberg UR-22 USB audio interface is a portable, rugged 2-in/2-out interface with additional MIDI I/O. It features two industry-acclaimed D-PRE microphone preamps with 48V phantom power, 24-bit/192kHz AD/DA converters and a dedicated high-impedance switch.

The audio interface has two Neutrik analogue XLR/TRS combo inputs with Peak LEDs and switchable +48V phantom power. The Hi-Z switch on input 2 allows for direct recording of electric guitar or bass without the need for an additional DI box.

Latency-free hardware monitoring means that what you play is what you immediately hear. The Mix knob allows you to seamlessly blend between the direct signal and the output signal, while independent headphones and main output controls mean you can adjust the monitor and phones level individually.

Cubase Elements 8

Cubase Elements 8 is a streamlined and personal version of Cubase that provides an instantly accessible music production environment. The technology platform used in Elements 8 is the is the same as its larger siblings in the Cubase family. Elements 8 offers improved songwriting tools such as 'chord pads' - an expansion of 'chord tracks' found in Elements 7 and a new 're-record mode' which allows for an instant retake from the original position preserving the original pre-count and metronome settings.
