The PM 1A Mic Preamp Module is an innovative Eurorack-style module featuring all-tube circuitry. The PM 1A captures the classic tube warmth thanks to the two tube diodes, providing a vintage-style sound that truly shines in any mix. The versatile design boasts a range of premium-grade components, providing high-end sound reproduction with incredible fidelity. The microphone preamp features an impedance switch designed to match your microphone input for optimised audio. The module also includes a built-in DI input for use with guitars and other instruments. The pristine audio circuits are designed to capture every nuance from your inputs with incredible attention to detail, making the module ideal for use in the studio and on stage.

Low Cut Filter & Phase Reverse Switch

The control section is comprised of two large potentiometers and a range of switches. The control section features both selectable mic input impedances and a selectable pad in front of the input transformer. The selectable pad can be used for higher-level audio sources, ensuring optimised sound reproduction and minimised distortion. Also included is a low-cut filter which can be useful for removing unwanted low-end noise. A phase reverse switch is also included, ideal for problematic signals.

Classic Design Meets Modern Innovation

The module features a vintage-style design, reminiscent of modules from the late 80s. From the light-blue faceplate to the gold-plated switches and plastic potentiometers, the PM 1A's style is inspired by classic outboard gear. The input transformer is shielded by MU-metal for optimal durability. Both the input and output are also transformer balanced and fully floating.
