The KRK V4S4 is designed to deliver professional-grade audio in a small footprint. Its 4" woven Kevlar woofer and 1" Kevlar dome tweeter are tuned for clarity, producing a flat response that translates reliably across playback systems. The consistent materials used in both drivers ensure smooth crossover performance and reduce unwanted colouration, giving you clean mids, tight lows, and open highs.

Thanks to its lightweight construction and efficient magnet design, the drivers also offer fast response times that let you clearly hear transients and subtle mix details. This makes the V4S4 especially useful for tasks like vocal tuning, percussion editing, or final EQ tweaks before mastering.

49 onboard EQ presets for precise room tuning

One of the standout features of the V4S4 is its built-in DSP system, which offers 49 EQ presets. These presets have been designed using real-world room data to help you compensate for placement issues, desk reflections, and room modes without needing external correction software or acoustic treatment.

Using the included KRK key, you can quickly cycle through settings to find one that suits your space and working style. Whether your studio is acoustically treated or not, the V4S4 gives you the tools to dial in a neutral, trustworthy sound with minimal effort.

Class-D power with high headroom and low distortion

The V4S4 uses an 85W Class-D amplifier split across high and low frequencies, with 30W powering the tweeter and 55W driving the woofer. This bi-amped design ensures each driver gets the energy it needs without sharing power, resulting in better dynamics and detail.

With a maximum SPL of 110 dB and a frequency range extending from 50 Hz to 24 kHz, this monitor is more than capable of handling loud playback, quiet mix checks, and everything in between. Even at higher volumes, the sound remains clean and controlled, making it suitable for both mixing and critical listening.

Stable, flexible, and studio-ready design

The V4S4 is built to handle real-world studio setups. Its front-ported bass reflex design avoids boundary coupling, making it easier to place near walls or in tight control rooms without causing excessive bass buildup. The enclosure combines MDF with a solid aluminium front baffle that improves rigidity and reduces unwanted cabinet resonance.

Extra design touches include an EVA foam pad for vibration control, a standby switch, selectable input sensitivity, and an optional grille for added protection in mobile or broadcast setups.
