Making up a large portion of the sound of a microphone is the capsule and in order to achieve an authentic recreation of vintage U47-style microphones, the Stam Audio SA 47FET is constructed using an original Italian-made Braingasm Lab K47 capsule. This capsule accurately captures your incoming audio signal throughout the full frequency spectrum of 20Hz - 20kHz, ensuring every detail of your performance is translated to your recording in stunning quality.
A UK-made Sowter input transformer is employed in the SA 47FET, alongside premium polystyrene and tantalum capacitors. The combination of these components makes the SA 47FET Microphone the ideal choice for instruments with a high transient response and a high SPL rating. Anything from kick drums, electric bass cabinets or driving rock vocals can all be captured with maximum fidelity and no unwanted distortion or artefacts.
