Built for portability, the AMS-44 combines a compact design with versatile functionality providing a 4-in/4-out audio interface for streaming and recording music. At the heart of the AMS-44 are four XLR/TRS combo inputs that allow you to process both instrument and microphone signals – ideal for vocalists and instrumentalists. There is also a stereo line input as well as two headphone outputs for monitoring your levels whilst you record.

The simple and streamlined design makes it easy to operate with gain and output rotary controls on top of the interface. You can even output to external monitors using the two TRS outputs for added flexibility. It also features a stereo link switch for stereo recording applications, as well as an onboard switch for toggling between mic/instrument inputs.

Flip the switch – music/streaming modes

The AMS-44 features an intuitive layout with a special switch located on top which allows you to switch between specialised modes for both music and livestreaming. When switched to ‘Music’ mode, the AMS-44 allows you to record directly into your favourite DAW, providing expanded input/output routing options. When switched to ‘Streaming’ mode, the interface will combine all the input into a single signal path – allowing you to stream without having to download additional software.

Loopback control – incorporate background music/backing tracks

Standing out from the crowd, the AMS-44 isn’t just your average portable audio interface. It features a special ‘Loopback’ switch that combines input audio with the playback from your computer. This means you can add backing tracks to your live-streaming or use background music and other audio files, as and when you need them. With the AMS-44 providing support for a wide range of devices, you can rest assured you’re always ready to record/stream – no matter where you are.

Direct monitoring and power options

Monitoring your sound as you go can be paramount when it comes to creating a cohesive mix or a professional livestream. The AMS-44 features a ‘Direct Monitor’ switch, allowing you to monitor your sound whilst you record, allowing you to hear how you sound at all times. The AMS-44 can be powered in various ways including USB bus power. You can also power the interface using an AC adapter, a USB battery or even using 2 x AA batteries!
