This sound won't slip as you keep perfectly in tune with four integral fine tuners and steel core strings.

All about the wood

Quality woods are everywhere in this violin. Genuine Ebony in the fingerboard and pegs is a beautiful, dark material that will not mark. The tight grain of Ebony makes it a hard, slick surface for a fingerboard, perfect for a fast playing-quality. These impressive materials allow you to advance to more complex playing without changing instruments, taking you through the first few grades with ease. Black hardwood fittings will remain structurally sound for a long time so you can relax and take your time with this violin.

To top it off, the Studenti looks great too. With a satin finish, your violin will have a gorgeous, subtle gleam. Authentic wood characteristics will shine through so that no-one will believe this is your first violin.

The Hidersine Company

The company was founded in 1890 and has since been the go-to company of bowed instrument maintenance and care. The company really made their mark in this specialist market when they introduced Amy Birch's 'AB' Rosin in 1970 and the legendary W.E.Hill & Sons' rosins in the 1980's.

Hidersine Bowed Instruments round up all of the years of working with instrument luthiers, learning what is required by players at all the different levels of development. Gained from the years of work are the ESTA-chosen (European String Teachers Association), entry-level Vivente student outfit, the advanced Piacenza student outfit, and the degree students choice, the Veracini, plus many more fine instruments. These instruments led Hidersine to develop the Hidersine Reserve range of one-off instruments for the connoisseur. Hand selected violins and cellos from workshops across Asia that shows off both a great value and exceptional craftsmanship.
