Yamaha YSS475II Soprano Saxophone, Gold Lacquer - Secondhand

Full Description

Professional features within reach

The YSS-475II takes inspiration from Yamaha's Custom EX soprano saxophones, bringing key design features into an instrument aimed at progressing players. This approach provides a responsive feel, accurate intonation, and an even tone across the range, helping you develop confidence as your playing advances. Whether you're preparing for exams, rehearsing with an ensemble, or performing on stage, the instrument responds consistently to your technique.

Play with greater comfort

Comfortable ergonomics make longer practice sessions easier. Regular key posts reduce playing resistance for a more natural response, while the distinctive teardrop front F key improves access during more demanding passages. The redesigned left-hand seesaw key also feels more comfortable to operate, and the adjustable thumb hook lets you tailor the instrument to suit your hand position for improved support.

Built for reliable everyday use

Constructed from brass with a durable gold lacquer finish, the YSS-475II is made for regular practice and performance. The two-piece bell contributes to its traditional design, while precision laser engraving adds an elegant finishing touch. Yamaha has been manufacturing musical instruments for well over a century, drawing on decades of wind instrument development to refine the playing experience across its saxophone range.

Ready to practise and perform

Everything you need to begin playing is included in the case. The supplied Yamaha 4C mouthpiece, ligature, and straight neck let you get started straight away, while the SSC-475II case keeps the instrument protected between sessions. It's exceptionally lightweight and includes backpack straps, making it easier to carry to lessons, rehearsals, and performances without adding unnecessary bulk.
