Key Features
The Gretsch Catalina Club 18'' Shell Pack With Snare, Yellow Satin Flame is a compact drum kit suited to small stages, studios, and tight rehearsal spaces. Built with 7-ply mahogany shells, it delivers a warm, controlled tone with a strong low-end presence that suits jazz, funk, pop, and lighter rock settings. The 30-degree bearing edges help the shells resonate freely, giving you a responsive feel while keeping the sound focused.
An 18" x 14" bass drum keeps the footprint small but still offers clear punch, while the included bass drum riser lifts the drum slightly for improved projection and a more natural beater contact. Gretsch Remo drumheads come fitted as standard, so the kit is ready to play with dependable tone from the start. Chrome hardware, a single tom holder, and the included 14" x 5" snare complete a practical four-piece setup for drummers who need portability without sacrificing character.
Please Note: Hardware and cymbals NOT included.

The Catalina Club shell pack uses 7-ply mahogany shells to produce a warm, rounded sound with a naturally strong low end. Mahogany is known for its smooth character, helping notes stay full without becoming overly bright or harsh. This makes the kit particularly useful in smaller venues or recording spaces where controlled tone matters. The shells also feature 30° bearing edges, allowing the drumheads to sit comfortably while enhancing resonance and sensitivity. As a result, you get clear articulation from light touches and a balanced response across the entire kit.
The 18" x 14" bass drum keeps the Catalina Club kit compact and easy to position on tighter stages. Despite its smaller size, it still delivers a focused punch that sits well in a mix. This makes the kit well suited to jazz, acoustic sets, rehearsal rooms, and studio sessions where space can be limited. Smaller bass drums are also easier to transport, helping gigging drummers move their setup between venues with less effort while still maintaining a full and controlled kick sound.
An included bass drum riser lifts the front of the drum slightly to improve beater contact with the centre of the head. This simple addition helps the drum produce a clearer, more consistent tone. It also raises the bass drum for better projection — particularly helpful when using smaller bass drum sizes like this 18-inch model. The result is a punchier response and improved feel under your foot, giving you more confidence when playing dynamic grooves or lighter styles.
This shell pack includes practical hardware details that keep setup straightforward. A single tom holder mounts the 12" x 8" rack tom securely above the bass drum, while chrome hardware adds durability for regular use. Gretsch Remo drumheads are fitted to each drum, offering reliable tone straight out of the box. Alongside the 14" x 14" floor tom and 14" x 5" snare, the configuration forms a versatile four-piece kit that works well for rehearsals, studio sessions, and smaller live performances.
