Inspired by a classical landmark
The Hauser draws influence from the 1937 guitar design that helped shape modern classical performance. Known for its association with Andrés Segovia, this build focuses on clarity, balance, and responsiveness rather than unnecessary decoration. The traditional body construction and 12-fret neck joint give you the familiar playing feel many classical guitarists prefer, especially for nuanced fingerstyle work. Combined with the 650mm scale length and comfortable C-shaped neck, the guitar feels controlled and natural whether you're practising at home, performing, or studying demanding repertoire.
Solid woods for expressive tone
A solid Italian spruce top gives the Hauser a focused, articulate response with plenty of dynamic range. Paired with solid Indian rosewood back and sides, the result is a rich and balanced sound with strong projection and clear note separation. This makes complex chords, melodic runs, and subtle right-hand techniques easier to hear distinctly. The ebony fingerboard also contributes to a smooth, consistent playing surface, helping fast position shifts feel accurate and controlled. Together, these tonewoods provide a dependable classical voice suited to a wide range of musical styles.
Built for reliable long-term performance
The Spanish heel neck joint adds stability and supports efficient vibration transfer throughout the body. Córdoba also includes a dual-action truss rod, giving you more control over neck adjustments as conditions change over time. That extra flexibility can be especially useful if you regularly travel, perform in different environments, or simply want easier setup maintenance. Bone nut and saddle components help maintain consistent string response and tuning stability, while the Córdoba Master Series tuning machines offer smooth and accurate tuning adjustments during practice and performance.
Traditional finish with practical protection
The nitrocellulose lacquer finish helps the guitar resonate freely while allowing the natural character of the woods to come through clearly. Over time, this style of finish can develop an aged appearance that many classical players appreciate. And for added protection, the Hauser includes a Córdoba Deluxe Humidified Archtop Wood Case. This makes storage and transport more dependable, particularly when humidity changes could affect a solid wood instrument. Savarez Cristal Corum High Tension strings come fitted as standard, providing a firm, responsive feel straight out of the case.
