The Arrowhead SE 20th Anniversary captures the sharp, aggressive styling closely associated with Alexi Laiho’s stage presence. Its distinctive V-style body and striking Black finish with Yellow bevels create an unmistakable visual identity that stands out under stage lighting. This bold aesthetic reflects Alexi’s uncompromising approach to music, pairing dramatic looks with functional design. The minimalist control layout reinforces its performance-first philosophy, keeping distractions to a minimum and allowing players to focus entirely on execution and tone.
Neck-thru construction runs the length of the guitar, improving sustain, resonance, and structural stability. This design removes traditional heel joints, allowing smooth, unrestricted access to the highest frets. The result is a fluid playing experience that benefits fast lead passages and extended solos. Combined with the lightweight alder body, the guitar remains well balanced while responding quickly to picking dynamics and aggressive playing techniques.
Frets 19 to 24 are scalloped to reduce fingerboard contact, giving players increased control over vibrato, bends, and note articulation. This feature is ideal for expressive lead work, allowing notes to ring clearly with minimal effort. The three-piece maple neck uses a Thin U profile that supports rapid position changes and long playing sessions. A Macassar ebony fingerboard and 24 extra-jumbo frets provide a smooth, precise surface that allows for fast, precise playing techniques.
A Floyd Rose 1000 double-locking tremolo provides the tuning stability required for divebombs, flutters, and wide vibrato effects. Locking hardware at the nut and bridge keeps pitch secure during extreme use. An EMG HZ FH-2 pickup delivers a powerful, articulate tone with strong attack and definition, well suited to high-gain amplification. With a single volume control and professional-grade hardware throughout, the Arrowhead SE is built for reliable stage and studio performance.
