Key Features
The Gibson ELEV8 Plus Treble Pickup is a high-output modern humbucker designed for players who want extra power without sacrificing clarity, articulation, or dynamic control. Its powerful overwound design combines an Alnico 8 magnet with custom-gauge wire and an average DC resistance of 15k, producing an authoritative bridge-position voice with exceptional punch. Tight, controlled lows help aggressive palm-muted riffs and drop-tuned parts remain precise, while excellent note definition keeps chords and lead passages clear even through heavily saturated high-gain sounds.
Designed as the most powerful member of the ELEV8 family, the ELEV8 Plus pairs perfectly with a standard ELEV8 in the neck position for a balanced modern setup. Four-conductor wiring gives you plenty of scope to expand your guitar's tonal range, supporting coil splitting and more advanced switching configurations alongside its full humbucking sound. Wax potting supports dependable performance, while a nickel provides a classic elegant appearance. It's a formidable choice for modern players seeking greater bridge output, tight response, and the flexibility to explore sounds beyond a conventional humbucker configuration.
