Key Features
The Hagstrom Megin is a straight-ahead double cut built for the graft of real gigs. A mahogany body with a long mortise and tenon set neck gives you that solid, resonant feel under the fingers, while the 25.5" scale adds snap and definition for tight riffing and articulate leads. The Resinator fingerboard and H-Expander truss rod team up for stability, smooth playability and sustain that rings on, so you can set a low, fast action without the buzz
Two Custom 62 humbuckers handle the lot: open, musical cleans, chunky mid gain and big, focused drive when you lean in. Hardware is built for the road too, with a wraparound bridge that channels string energy into the body and keeps intonation tidy, plus 15:1 Hagstrom tuners for quick, precise tweaks between songs. If you want a no-nonsense workhorse with a touch of magic in the feel and tone, the Megin has your back

Megin leans into classic tonewoods for a voice that feels big, bold and alive. A solid mahogany body is paired with a long mortise and tenon set neck, so string energy travels effortlessly through the joint and into the body. You get that thick, sweet midrange for riffs, plus a singing sustain that holds bends beautifully. The build feels reassuringly solid on a strap and balances well, ready for long sets
A matched set of Custom 62 humbuckers gives Megin the range to cover your whole set. The neck pickup is open and expressive for chimey cleans and smooth lead lines, while the bridge unit brings punch, cut and tight lows for driven rhythm parts. Calibrated outputs keep levels even across positions, so switching mid-song is seamless. Roll back the volume for sparkle, wind it up for focused growl, and enjoy a clear, musical response
The 25.5" scale length tightens the low end and sharpens attack, perfect for articulate riffing and precise palm mutes. It also holds drop tunings with confidence, keeping the feel taut so you can dig in with confidence. Pair that with a 15" fingerboard radius and 22 medium jumbo frets and it's a recipe for smooth bends and tidy vibrato. The 43mm nut keeps spacing comfortable for chords and fast lines alike, so everything falls under the fingers
The Megin is designed to gig hard and stay in tune. The wraparound bridge with wide-reach saddles dials in accurate intonation and pushes energy into the body for added sustain. Hagstrom 15:1 tuners make quick, precise tweaks easy between songs. The H-Expander truss rod adds rock-solid neck stability and a lively attack, while the Resinator fingerboard keeps the voice even and articulate. It’s a no-fuss, reliable setup that rewards a confident touch
